Oh. My. Gawd. Ok, so here’s the story - 2 years ago I was driving in Royal Oak, on 4th street, looking out my Jeep window, when I spotted on open garage door (in an unassuming condo-looking building) with a smokin’ blue & orange racing striped Ford GT.
“Whoa,” instant double-take. Not only was I wondering who would live in such a sad looking building, that houses such an amazing car in their tiny one-car garage…but I was also wondering how to get-me-some-of-that. Like every college-aged woman, I have a thing for cars. And guys who actually have them.
Flash forward - Today I was stalking the Curbed Detroit webpage, as usual, in search of lofts to move into in October (and other general Detroit shenanigans) when I saw it!
Two guys (hopefully straight-shooters, for my sake) have transformed this dull-drum building into a home even more than spectacular. And the cars! And the party patio! And the everything! The loft style is to die for! I could go on, but the drooling can’t be good for my keyboard. Needless to say, this level of taste is rarely seen in the suburbs of Detroit. But the most important thing about this place is…
Are these guys single and available? Cause I can be. Let’s party.
(Sidenote: I love my mancake. And his affinity, as of now, to share my car. But damn, we both can dream, right?!)
